“ I sowed the seed. Apollo watered … It was God who made the plant to grow. We are the partners working together for God.” (1 Cor. 3:6,9)

These words of St. Paul to the Christian community at Corinth are only but befitting to express my heart’s deepest sentiments, as I pen these few lines. From the narrow verandah of this ancient convent to the artistically built new wing, St. Francis School has been a labour of love of my predecessors my co-Sisters in religion, the staff – both teaching and non- teaching, the parents, benefactors and the thousands of students who have passed out of its portals. The painstaking efforts of our dear Italian Sisters deserve our special mention.

Following the guidelines of Mother Seraphina, our foundress, we aim at training our students to be not only intellectually competent but also caring and compassionate human beings, who will make a positive contribution to the society.

We have achieved this aim with the co-operation and co-ordination of the guardians, Staff and the well-wishers who have helped him/her to bloom into a truly educated citizen.
