National Unity Day, also known as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is celebrated every year on 31st October to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was introduced by the government of India in 2014.
We celebrated this day by highlighting the contribution of Sardar Patel in the unification of the country. An eloquent speech was delivered and a hindi poem was recited highlighting the importance of unity and brotherhood.
A pledge was administered by madam Sarita Gupta.
To honour the contribution made by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel towards national integration, a run for unity was organised in the school by the students of classes 3-5. Sr. Principal and teachers also participated in the run.
