Morning Assembly Report on National Unity Day

The school celebrated National Unity Day on 31st October with great zeal and patriotic spirit to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. The day aimed to reaffirm the importance of unity, peace, and integrity in our nation.

The morning assembly began with the school prayer, followed by scripture and thought for the day . The significance of the day was then shared by a student, who highlighted the efforts and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in unifying the princely states after India’s independence.

Following the speech, a melodious and meaningful poem titled “We Stand as One” was presented by students:The poem beautifully expressed the message of unity in diversity and the importance of standing together as one nation.

The students were encouraged to follow the ideals of Sardar Patel and contribute towards the progress and harmony of the nation.

To make the occasion more interactive, a quiz competition on National Unity Day was organized, in which students enthusiastically participated. The questions focused on the life, achievements, and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Winners of the quiz were awarded certificates and appreciated for their active participation and knowledge.

After the quiz, all students and staff took the National Unity Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to preserve the unity, integrity, and security of the nation.

The celebration concluded with the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with a sense of pride and patriotism. The event successfully instilled the values of national unity and integrity among students and encouraged them to work together for a strong and united India.
